GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced on Friday that over $15 million in Community Assistance Program grants will support child victim services across Arkansas — the Hamilton Center for Child Advocacy in Fort Smith is set to receive more than $300,000, with funds provided in January. 4029 News
- ➤ Fort Smith is asking residents for ideas on using the 111-acre Acme Brick site on Old Greenwood Road; the city bought the site in October 2023 for flood mitigation and stormwater management. A public meeting (drawing strong turnout) prompted officials to invite further input via an online page. 4029 News
