Arkansas reportedly hired Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield as its new head football coach, ending a two-month search that began after former coach Sam Pittman was fired on Sept.
28. Silverfield, 45, finished his seventh season with a 50-25 record as head coach of the Tigers & he is expected to overcome doubts that Memphis coaches can win at the top level.
