- ➤ The UAFS Art and Design Department welcomed artist Johana Moscoso as its new Artist in Residence; the Colombian-American visual artist arrived in November and will mentor students until spring 2026—she will give a public artist talk on Nov. 19 at the Windgate Art and Design Theatre. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith will host its largest undergraduate recruitment event, Den Day, on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prospective students including high school juniors, seniors and transfer students will tour the campus, join Academic Sessions and meet faculty—offering a firsthand look at academic programs and student life.
