The UAFS College of Art and Design will display Glyphosate Dreams, a solo exhibition by Karina Bitsicas that features photography, printmaking and video art starting Friday at 5 p.m. at the Windgate Art and Design Gallery (show runs through Nov.
20).
Fort Smith Regional Art Museum will host free opening receptions from 5-7 p.m. Sept.
18 for two new exhibits celebrating regional art and Route 66 history; the displays, featuring works by artist Aaron Bleidt and David Malcolm Rose, will run through Jan. 17.
🎓 Education
University of Arkansas at Fort Smith Army ROTC will climb 110 flights of stairs Friday at 6 a.m. at the Stubblefield Center (5402 Kinkead Ave) to honor lives lost on Sept.
11 with a moment of silence, prayer and safety briefing.

The Roland Rangers opened head coach Kenyatta Wright’s era with a 32-7 win over rival Muldrow at Marty Rogers Field at Aubrey Henshaw Stadium on Friday.
Friday night, Kase Adams was sacked to end the opening drive for the Black Diamonds, yet the senior quarterback rallied his team to a 39-28 win over Fort Smith Southside + overcoming a challenging start.
