  • Free archery classes are available at Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center in Fort Smith—learners will be taught safe techniques by qualified instructors.  River Valley Democrat-Gazette

  • Fort Smith Transit launched its Junior AmBUSsador program last month to teach local children the benefits of public transportation—program specialists say the initiative is vital to every part of the city.  River Valley Democrat-Gazette

  • Greenwood's young defense matured Friday night in a 61-14 win over Fort Smith Northside at Mayo-Thompson Stadium—marking the second straight game with no second-half touchdowns allowed. The Bulldogs scored five second-half touchdowns to secure the win.  River Valley Democrat-Gazette
