- ➤ Fort Smith Police said one person was injured in an apparent shooting on the 400 block of South 17th Street early Sunday morning—detectives took over the investigation and will release more details as they become available. 5 News

- ➤ The Fort Smith Board will review 18 city-owned properties for sale, consider a 360 review of city departments, and discuss a leasing proposal to update the police fleet at its study session on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
