- ➤ Fort Smith Police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery on Tuesday in the 2300 block of Towson Avenue and arrested a suspect — the investigation remains in its early stages and anyone with information is urged to call 479-709-5000. 4029 News

- ➤ UAFS will host student move-ins from Aug 8 to Aug 15 with main days on Aug 13 and Aug 15, featuring assigned time slots, volunteer crews in distinctive shirts, and a free cookout for Cub Camp first-year students at Lion’s Den — early arrivals include international students, athletes and Cub Camp staff. Traffic will increase near Waldron Road and Grand Avenue as families follow emailed parking and traffic instructions. Southwest Times Record

- ➤ Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday morning in Jerusalem as part of a trade mission to promote Arkansas companies; the state exported over $150 million in products to Israel last year. Sanders will visit the United Arab Emirates for aerospace and defense talks and is scheduled to return (Aug. 9) to the U.S. 4029 News
