- ➤ Surveillance video from Sebastian County Jail shows inmate John Anthony Cole—a convicted killer awaiting court for a Fort Smith murder—attacked two deputies on May 9 with a makeshift metal shank, injuring both officers who later received treatment. 5 News
- ➤ A 25-year-old woman named Moriah J. Burrows was arrested Monday at 4:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Rogers Avenue for aggravated robbery after Fort Smith officers responded Sunday at 11:20 p.m. near North 19th and North Sixth streets when she, driving a silver Ford Flex, showed a gun and forced a victim to give cash—she was on active parole from a previous robbery—.
