- ➤ A 57-year-old Ozark man died Friday night when his 2016 Kawasaki went out of control and overturned on Arkansas 288 at 10:49 p.m.—passenger Chrystal Daniels, 46, was injured and taken to Mercy Hospital Ozark. River Valley Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Sebastian County’s prosecutor Daniel Shue has asked for a special prosecutor to check possible criminal acts linked to a FOIA request about the city’s internal auditor hire—he said a citizen complaint, a court ruling for FOIA violations, and his conflict of interest led him to seek state help.
