- ➤ The XNA board withdrew both proposals for handling sales tax revenue and filed a lawsuit against Highfill to enforce Act 769—saying the dispute may extend the 2% fee on airport purchases while negotiations and mediation are expected to resume. 5 News
- ➤ A Sebastian County District Judge ruled that Fort Smith acting city administrator Jeff Dingman violated FOIA laws by not turning over documents on time—raising concerns when a background check for the fired auditor candidate could not be shown.
