- ➤ Fort Smith National Cemetery will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Space Force Lt. Col. Chase Thornton delivering the keynote address; volunteers have put up 20,000 flags + the public is welcome to attend with an umbrella and lawn chair if needed. 4029 News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Franklin County Extension Office in Ozark will offer a ServSafe Certified Food Manager Course at 9 a.m. on June 29 (300 Airport Road). The course costs $140 for new managers and $60 for re-certifications, requires pre-registration by June 15, and grants a five-year certification. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Today at 10 a.m., the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education will hold its commencement ceremony at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith Stubblefield Center (532 N. Waldron Road), where about 233 graduates will be recognized in several programs including the inaugural Master of Public Health. Following the ceremony, a family picnic with lunch will take place on the front lawn of the College of Osteopathic Medicine building. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
