- ➤ The Sebastian County Election Commission finalized polling locations for the May 13 school board elections on Friday in Fort Smith — commissioners unanimously approved both early voting and election day sites. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Members of the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce met with Sen. John Boozman in Washington, D.C.—joined by community leaders and military personnel—to discuss economic development projects, the Foreign Military Sales mission at Ebbing and other local priorities on Wednesday. The senator thanked the group for sharing key local issues and pledged to work on these priorities for Fort Smith's future. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
