- ➤ The Occupational Therapy Department at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education and Bost, Inc. will present the yearly Acting Creates Therapeutic Success program titled The Treasure Within on April 15 at 6 p.m. at the Health and Wellness Center (1000 Fianna Way). The family-friendly show gives community members of all abilities a chance to perform using improvisation and will include a raffle (supporting Arts at Bost) to raise funds. - ➤ River Valley law enforcement leaders in Fort Smith say the slow effort to ease jail and prison overcrowding is making longer prison terms seem more acceptable to some defendants. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Fort Smith’s Board of Directors will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Blue Lion to consider four key consent decree projects, including design updates for sewer repairs in multiple wards—plans that range from updating manholes to extending the contract with Brother's Construction LLC. The board will also review a resolution to invite EPA and the U.S. attorney general for talks on sewer compliance—funded by the city's dedicated 5/8% sales tax. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
