EDUCATION NEWS

  • Fort Smith high school juniors and seniors are invited to apply by March 18 for free two-week MASH camps that will be held at Mercy Hospital & Baptist Health this summer. The camps will offer hands-on medical training including CPR and dissections.  Southwest Times Record

  • Van Buren's Lady Pointers have come close to upsetting tournament favorites in opening rounds—losing 68–52 to Vilonia last year and 50–44 to Lake Hamilton two years ago—and they are set to compete in the Class 5A state tournament.  River Valley Democrat-Gazette
