- ➤ Veteran journalist Byron Tate will join the Arkansas Times as managing editor on March 9 after concluding his role at The Pine Bluff Commercial. He previously worked at the Southwest Times Record & Vallejo Times Herald and will replace Benjamin Hardy. Arkansas Times
- ➤ On Saturday, March 7, a film event in Eureka Springs features a screenwriting workshop at the Writer's Colony at Dairy Hollow plus a dinner with Kate Siegenthaler followed by a screening of the thriller Inthralled at Eureka Auditorium, organized by the Fort Smith International Film Festival and local arts groups. - ➤ Colby Brewer, an ATU-Ozark EMT graduate, served as an EMT firefighter at the Amundsen — Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica through the U.S. Antarctic Program.
