- ➤ A Washington County judge signed an order—limiting over a dozen agencies from making public comments about evidence and opinions—to protect Andrew McGann’s right to a fair trial after his arrest for killing a Prairie Grove couple at Devil’s Den. 5 News

- ➤ River Valley residents plan to travel this Labor Day weekend and law enforcement warns drivers & boaters not to drink and drive to keep roads and waterways safe; AAA reports lower travel costs and clear weather with highs in the 80s, so officials urge everyone to plan ahead. - ➤ In June, the 8th Circuit Court ruled that Arkansas may enforce its ban on hemp products that can change how you feel while a lawsuit is still going. Governor Sanders and Attorney General Griffin said the law is now in force and the case returns to district court — businesses and customers risk penalties for selling these items. Arkansas Times
