- ➤ Fort Smith doctor Ladaryl Lankford, 46, was arrested on charges of rape, second degree sexual assault, possession or use of child sexual abuse material, video voyeurism, and introducing a controlled substance after police said he drugged and assaulted a person at 3 a.m. on March 30 — investigators also found thousands of hidden videos dating back to at least 2016, and he is held on a $500,000 bond at Sebastian County Adult Detention Center. 5 News
- ➤ A judge ordered a psychiatric evaluation for Fort Smith man Marvin L. Davis—accused of killing 65-year-old Dorothy Edmonds in her South 11th Street home on March 16—to assess his mental state before his trial in September. River Valley Democrat-Gazette
